ICN2 Seminar Hall, ICN2 Building, UAB

The aim of the High Performance Computing for Next Generation Nanomaterials & Nanodevices Engineering Workshop is to demonstrate the relevance of high performance computing (HPC) to forefront research in nanomaterials, molecular electronics and nanodevices to potential users of the HPC resources of the Spanish Supercomputing Network (RES).

Sponsored by this network, the event will bring together European experts in the fields of nanoscience and nanotechnology, with a strong focus on HPC applications, as well as representatives from the RES.

ICN2 Involved Researchers - Workshop Coordinators:

  • Prof. Stephan Roche, Theoretical and Computational Nanoscienced Group Leader
  • José Hugo García Aguilar, Postdoctoral researcher at Theoretical and Computational Nanoscienced Group
  • Marc Vila, Doctoral Student at Theoretical and Computational Nanoscienced Group

The workshop is free of charge, by application only. Participants interested in presenting a poster should indicate as such when they apply to attend. Due to space limitations, maximum number of participants is 40. Selected participants will receive conference material, one lunch and three coffee breaks.
