 fy\;"><strong>Abstract</strong>:</p>\n<p>This thesis exploits the use of E
 lectrolyte – Gated Organic Field Effect Transistors (EGOFETs) for the de
 velopment of ultrasensitive\, label – free biosensing platforms and thei
 r translation into portable diagnostics. Hybrid sensing architectures inte
 grating simple EGOFET devices with LF paper fluidics have been developed\,
  enabling reusable\, highly portable\, and cost‑effective point‑of‑c
 are (POC) tests. The synergy between organic electronics and capillary dri
 ven paper microfluidics thus establishes a robust foundation for the next 
 generation of digital\, low cost POC diagnostic technologies\, expanding t
 heir applicability from clinical biomarker detection to fundamental studie
