Stability of Emerging Photovoltaics from Fundamental to Applications conference

As coordinator of the COST Action StableNextSol, CSIC scientist and ICN2 group leader Dr Mónica Lira-Cantú hosted last week's Stability of Emerging Photovoltaics from Fundamental to Applications (SEPV2018) conference in Barcelona.

Last week the Stability of Emerging Photovoltaics from Fundamental to Applications (SEPV2018) conference was held in Barcelona. A four-day conference with talks from the main world leaders in the emerging field of photovoltaics (PV), the event was the closing act of a four-year COST Action to pool existing and generate new fundamental knowledge and expertise in a bid to reinstate Europe's competitiveness in PV manufacturing.

StableNextSol, as the action is known, has brought together over 470 partners from 35 countries to tackle the specific issues of stability and lifetimes in organic and perovskite solar cells. Drawing to a close in mid-March, the action is led by CSIC scientist Dr Mónica Lira-Cantú, leader of the ICN2 Nanostructured Materials for Photovoltaic Energy Group.
