Special Issue Reprint on Bioinspired Catechols Co-edited by CSIC Prof. Daniel Ruiz

The reprint of the Biomimetics 2017 Special Issue on Bioinspired Catechol-Based Systems: Chemistry and Applications, edited by Prof. Marco d’Ischia and CSIC Prof. Daniel Ruiz-Molina, leader of the ICN2 Nanostructured Functional Materials Group, is now available.

Edited by Prof. Marco d’Ischia and CSIC Prof. Daniel Ruiz-Molina, leader of the ICN2 Nanostructured Functional Materials Group, the open access journal Biomimetics released a Special Issue in 2017 on Bioinspired Catechol-Based Systems: Chemistry and Applications.

As the editors explain in their opening article, this Special Issue brings together work from different laboratories around the world and will “provide the reader with a concise panorama of the status quo and perspectives in the increasingly expanding field of basic and applied research on bioinspired catechol systems”.

The reprint, compiled this year due to the issue's success, is now available in PDF format and print copies can be ordered from the MDPI library.
