\nAbstract: \;Creativity is often defined as the power to imagine what does not yet exi st and to bring something genuinely new into the world. But is this still a uniquely human gift\, or is it becoming something that algorithms can im itate\, scale\, and perhaps one day rival?
\nCa n creativity itself be measured? Can we meaningfully assess the creative f orce of a scientist\, a research group\, or even an entire research instit ute? And as artificial intelligence becomes ever more powerful\, should we begin to ask whether machines may one day appear “more human than human s” in the way they generate ideas\, solve problems\, and reshape knowled ge?
\nAddressed to all curious spirits of ICN2\ , this talk opens a window onto the fascinating and unsettling questions t hat creativity now raises for science and innovation. It is an invitation to debate how excellence can be sustained in a research institute like ICN 2 within fast-changing scientific\, technological\, and political ecosyste ms. The central challenge is clear: how do we harness AI as a powerful all y without eroding the irreducibly human ability to take intellectual risks \, break conceptual boundaries\, and create something genuinely new?
