- Ouroboros is an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon eating its own tail as a symbol of the eternal cyclic renewal of nature in the universe, or a cycle of life, death, and rebirth. A self-assamble magnetic precipitate in an Ouroborus-like form was obtained from the synthesis of Eu-doped magnetite nanoparticles. The image was captured from above the vial, and discarding the reaction supernatant was revealed this macrostructure.
