Title
Carbon Cliffs
Technique
SEM
Description
The "cliffs" are cross-section of a supercapacitor electrode which is created by freeze drying Activated Carbon and CMC. Activated carbon electrodes made through lyophilization process, could allow better electrolyte percolation through the mass of the material. This would enable energy storage industry to increase the mass loading electrodes and reducing non-active components in the cell.
