Coordination Polymer Nanofibers Generated by Microfluidic Synthesis

For the first time, microfluidic techniques offering parallel synthesis and a high level of control have been used to assemble 1D coordination polymer nanofibers

The team at the Supramolecular Nanochemistry & Materials Group at the Catalan Institute of Nanotechnology (ICN)collaborating with ETH Zurich, have demonstrated a novel microfluidics technique for controlling the assembly of metal ions and organic building blocks to form one dimensional coordination polymer nanostructures.
