The first formal meeting of the Barcelona Nanotechnology Cluster – Bellaterra (BNC-b) will take place next 14th July 2011

The objective of the meeting is to reaffirm the identity of the BNC-b, helping contact between groups in the different institutions on the Autonomous University Campus

The Barcelona Nanotechnology Cluster – Bellaterra (BNC-b), is a scientific and industrially oriented virtual entity, grouping the capabilities and expertises in nanoscience and technology of the departments and research centres on the Autonomous University Campus, and encompassed in theAutonomous University Research Park (PRUAB). The aim of the Cluster is to go beyond the frontiers of institutions and disciplines to realise the potential of the UAB campus in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.The objective of the meeting is to reaffirm the identity of the BNC-b, helping contact between groups in the different institutions on the Campus, while at the same time acting as a window for interested research entities in the area. Especially encouraged and welcomed will be the attendance and participation of young researchers, that is Doctoral Students, Post-docs and Tenure-track staff. The day’s lectures will be a mixture of keynote contributions from experienced researchers in the cluster, oral communications which will be selected from abstracts submitted by younger researchers, and poster presentations. Please come, learn, and participate in this multi- and inter-disciplinary event!
