CNBSS NanoSustainability Workshop and Launch Event

Launch of the CNBSS on October 26th at the Palau de la Musica in Barcelona and first NanoSustainability Workshop at the Centre d’Estudis i Recursos Culturals (CERC)

The CNBSS will hold its first NanoSustainability Workshop at the Centre d’Estudis i Recursos Culturals (CERC), in Barcelona, Spain, on October 26th, 2011. Some of the invited researchers and policy designers in the Nanotoxicology field are: Prof. Günter Oberdörster, Dr. David Lundberg, Prof. Robert Rallo, Dr. Margrethe Winther-Nielsen, Dr. Andrew Nelson, Dr. Damia Barceló and Dr. Nico van den Brink. After an exciting and enriching day of training, all will gather together in the “Heart of Barcelona” at “el Mirador del Palau de la Musica Catalana” for a dinner to share visions and experiences on the Nanotechnology future.

In its aim of providing expertise within the safety and sustainability of products containing Nanotechnology, CNBSS has offered to support talented future experts by training them with guest speakers that are currently influencing the world of NanoSustainability in Europe and USA. They will cover topics such as the impact of Nanoparticles on human health (from the cellular level to the physical pathology), as well as their impact on the environment.

Regional and national government officials, as well as representatives of the Nanotechnology industry sector will participate at this exciting debate, join the final event and celebrate the launch of the CNBSS.
