Nanonica announces 2013 Nanotechnology Prize

Technology investment firm Nanonica has announced that in 2013 it will award a Nanotechnology prize in two categories, with cash rewards of €10,000 and €5,000.

The deadline for entries is 20 August 2013.

Technology investment firm Nanonica has announced that it will grant two Nanotechnology prizes in 2013: Breakthrough of the Year in Nanotechnology (awarded with €10,000); and Best innovative project in the Field of Industrial, Medical and Pharmaceutical Applications of Nanotechnology (€5,000).

The Best in the Field prize is open to individual researchers employed at universities, technology and research centres, or companies.

The Breakthrough of the Year prize will be chosen by a scientific committee chaired by Prof Dr Victor Puntes and whose members hail from all areas of Nanotechnology. It will be chosen from a shortlist (about 100) provided by Nanonica, selected from the most significant scientific publications in Nanotechnology.
