The Packaging nanocluster visited ICN2

A group of companies and representatives from the Packaging Cluster visited ICN2, on December 18 2014, an event organized together with Associació Ambit B30. Visitors discussed opportunities offered by nanotechnology to the packaging industry in an event that involved different Groups and Departments from ICN2.

ICN2 seeks to establish collaborations with companies in a broad range of industrial areas. An excellent way to promote that is the direct participation in Clusters, which join the efforts of different actors in key industrial areas. In collaboration with Associació Ambit B30, a group of companies and representatives from the Packaging Cluster visited ICN2 on December 18 2014.

Visitors discussed opportunities offered by nanotechnology to the packaging industry in applications such as temperature and quality control or identification of allergenic compounds. The event involved different Groups and Departments from ICN2. Boaz Kogon, manager of the ICN2 Strategy Department, and Jordi Reverter, manager of the ICN2 Technology Transfer Department, led the event together with Alex Brossa, the Packaging Cluster manager.

Hopefully the visit will trigger partnerships with some of the attendees.
