The “Biosensors for Pandemics” Workshop, promoted by Phantoms Foundation, is the second edition of this necessary congress that has been developed in close collaboration with ICN2 members such as ICREA Prof. Arben Merkoçi (Scientific Chairperson of the event Organising Committee), Prof. Laura Lechuga (Co-Scientific Chairperson) and ICREA Prof. Stephan Roche (International Scientific Committee). Due to the growing support of the ICN2 both with ground-breaking content and institutional funds it has become the first of two Severo Ochoa Workshops on Health. This Severo Ochoa Action is held within the framework of the 2018-2021 Excelencia Severo Ochoa Programme.

The event is designed to address the main problems faced by the scientific community during the COVID-19 pandemic. Worldwide experts in biosensing technologies working on COVID-19 diagnostics and new potential applications will gather to share their knowledge with you. Influential institutions such as ICREA and the Graphene Flagship are supporting the event.
