The Molecular Spectroscopy and Microscopy Facility is a set of laboratories that provides researchers with state-of-the-art equipment for the comprehensive physicochemical and structural characterisation of materials at the macro and nano scales. It has been equipped to deliver not only routine analysis, but also highly demanding techniques and applications, meeting the need for basic and specific scientific analysis. Besides offering technical support and training for the instrumentation that can be self-operated, the facility personnel also performs case studies to be able to offer advice to researchers or develop devices that enhance the performance of existing equipment.
