Daniel Grajales receives the Best poster Award at ECIO 2017

The 19th edition of the European Conference on Integrated Optics (ECIO) took place on April 03-05, 2017, at Eindhoven University of Technology (the Netherlands). Daniel Grajales, predoctoral researcher at the ICN2 Nanobiosensors and Bioanalytical Applications Group, received the Best poster Award.

The ECIO 2017 conference featured over 100 talks from international academic experts on topics of interest, such as Waveguide technology and platforms, Devices and materials, Integrated Circuits, Application of Photonic Integrated Circuits. Furthermore, Leading edge research from IBM, Hewlett Packard, Oclaro, Seagate, ST microelectronics, NTT Japan and others were presented.

After some very intense days of networking and knowledge sharing, Daniel Grajales, predoctoral researcher at the ICN2 Nanobiosensors and Bioanalytical Applications Group led by Prof. Laura M. Lechuga, received the Best poster Award. The poster was entitled “Simulation and experimental evaluation of optical chirp modulation for bimodal waveguide interferometer biosensor”.

Congratulations, Daniel!
