Eduroam is an initiative of the Trans-European Research and Education Networking Association (TERENA) to facilitate mobility.
It allows any user from a participating institution to access the Internet at any of the other institutions belonging to this international initiative. In addition, at some institutions the visitor can access other resources, such as printers, without the need for an additional access code.
The Eduroam service allows students, researchers and staff of participating institutions to connect to the Internet when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening their laptop and entering the same username and password used at their own institution.
If you visit us, you can connect with the same username (including the domain, e.g. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) and the same password that you use at your institution.
The connection will be over the wireless network using the 802.1x standard. For Eduroam access using the 802.1x protocol, the SSID is eduroam and the connection uses TTLS with EAP Method: PEAP.
