ICN2 PhD student Javier Patarroyo takes second prize in photography award

The University Institute of Nanochemistry IUNAN has announced the winners of the first Biennial Scientific Photography Award. PhD student Javier Patarroyo of the ICN2 Inorganic Nanoparticles Group took second prize.

While photography in nanochemistry exists for scientific purposes, it also has an artistic side. Celebrating this aspect, the Instituto Universitario de Nanoquímica IUNAN has organised a Biennial Scientific Photography Award devoted to nanochemistry, in collaboration with the University of Córdoba. In 2017’s awards, second prize went to PhD student Javier Patarroyo of the ICN2 Inorganic Nanoparticles Group led by ICREA Prof. Victor Puntes.
