Doctoral Student María Tenorio, from the ICN2 Atomic Manipulation and Spectroscopy group, received one of the awards for best PhD oral presentation at Graphene2020. This online conference was held last week from 19 to 23 October.
Graphene2020, the largest European event in Graphene & 2D Materials, was held from 19th to 23rd October. Over the past nine editions, the Graphene Conference strengthened its positions as the main meeting point of the graphene community worldwide. This year, due to the current COVID-19 situation, Graphene2020 went virtual, with an impressive professional virtual platform.
After a week of talks, exhibitions, poster sessions, the organizers offered awards to the best posters and oral presentations. Only PhD students were eligible, intending to give them visibility and more opportunities. Maria Tenorio, Doctoral Student in the ICN2 Atomic Manipulation and Spectroscopy group, received the best oral presentation award. This award, sponsored by Grenoble Alpes University, is accompanied by a 200€ prize.
