Science conducted with rigour, honesty and accountability.
At ICN2, ethical conduct is not a set of rules imposed from outside. It is a shared commitment that runs through every aspect of our work: how we conduct research, how we communicate results, how we treat each other, and how we relate to the communities and institutions we are part of.
Our Values
ICN2 is guided by three core values: Commitment, Collaboration and Transformation. Together they define how we work, how we relate to one another, and what kind of institution we strive to be.
Code of Conduct in Research
ICN2's Code of Conduct in Research establishes the principles and standards that govern scientific practice at the centre. It sets out commitments to honest, transparent and rigorous research, in line with national and European frameworks for research integrity.
Whistleblowing Channel
ICN2 has a confidential channel through which any member of the community — or external parties — can report irregularities, unethical conduct or breaches of institutional policy. Reports can be submitted anonymously and are handled in accordance with current legal requirements.
