One of our missions is to achieve excellence in nanoscience and nanotechnology by fostering innovation and supporting the continuous professional development of our staff. We provide scientific workshops, knowledge-sharing seminars, specialised training and language courses, while encouraging participation in conferences and professional events relevant to each field.
To support this commitment, ICN2 develops an annual Training Plan that identifies the needs of research groups, scientific and technical support units, and administrative departments, ensuring that training activities are managed in a structured and effective way. The plan includes:
- PhD Programme and Postdoc Programme for researchers at different career stages
- Administration Training Programme and Research Support Training Programme to strengthen essential skills
Each year ICN2 publishes a training plan covering four areas: organisational and personal skills, job-related skills, health and safety, and languages. All programmes are open to ICN2 members according to their profile and career stage.
