ICN2's health and biomedicine research explores how nanotechnology can enable more precise, personalised and predictive healthcare. We address major challenges in disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment and monitoring, particularly in the areas of oncology, neurology and infectious diseases. We develop technologies with strong translational potential, including diagnostic platforms, therapeutic delivery systems, nanoscale devices and neural interfaces. Through multidisciplinary research and close collaboration with clinicians, hospitals and industry partners, we aim to accelerate the translation of nanotechnology into impactful solutions to improve health and patient care.
