IPOE is a biannual and established single-session conference dedicated to physical phenomena occurring at organic/organic, organic/inorganic, and organic/metal interfaces.

Previous editions were held in Cergy-Pontoise (France, 2017 and 2019) and Málaga (Spain, 2022). Following the spirit of the previous editions, the conference will cover a broad range of areas related to both experimental and theoretical aspects of (but not limited to) the following topics: Charge separation mechanisms, Organic/organic and organic/inorganic interfaces, Charge transport mechanisms, Solar energy conversion, Energy transfer processes, Doping, Energy landscape at interfaces, Molecular spintronics, Materials for interface engineering, Device physics (OFETs, OPV, photodetectors), Interfacial versus bulk properties, Experimental probes, Theoretical modelling, etc.
