Abstract: Nanographenes are receiving a great deal of attention because of their increasing performance in organic electronic applications. The properties of nanographenes are dominated by several structural variables such as the number of fused rings, their arrangement and the presence of heteroatoms in the structure, among others. We have developed several synthetic strategies that give access to 1D,[1] 2D[2] and 3D[3] structures constituted by nanographenes. The most recent advances of these structures including synthetic routes, optoelectronic properties, and potential applications will be discussed.
