Abstract: Electrocatalytic transformations hold the key for the conversion of CO2 with renewable energies. However, understanding the phenomena at the interface and trying to predict the properties of the catalysts and the best operation conditions and device configuration is very complex. I will address the challenges in the simulation of these materials and how new emerging technologies can accelerate the understanding of electrochemical systems.
