The 2nd European School on Advanced Materials, ESAM25 will be hosted by Advanced Material Program (AM ESP) and the Regional Institute for Applied Scientific Research (IRICA).

Call is open for speakers from different subfields. The participation of the younger generations (master, doctoral and postdoctoral students) is especially encouraged.  See the Confirmed invited speakers

The School is structured in three different blocks:

1. General invited lectures - Essential aspects of Advanced Materials.
2. Specialized invited lectures - Short tutorial lectures by the most representative European research groups active in Advanced Materials.
3. Oral communications With the aim of encouraging discussion and communication among all the participants, the students will have the opportunity to present short communications about their research results, including those that, although incomplete, can promote debate.

The school aims to be a forum for discussion on the status of the different types of advanced materials, which comprises:

• Graphene and other 2D Materials
• Materials for Energy
• Smart Materials with advanced functionalities
