ICREA Prof. Arben Merkoçi becomes Co-Editor-in-Chief of Biosensors and Bioelectronics

Biosensors and Bioelectronics is one of the most influential journals devoted to biosensors. He has been selected together with two more new Co-Editors-in-Chief, Prof. Man Bock Gu (Korea University College of Life Sciences and Biotechnology) and Prof. Chenzhong Li (Florida International University Department of Biomedical Engineering).

The journal Biosensors and Bioelectronics has recently announced the incorporation of three new Co-Editors-in-Chief, Prof. Man Bock Gu (Korea University College of Life Sciences and Biotechnology) and Prof. Chenzhong Li (Florida International University Department of Biomedical Engineering) and ICREA Prof. Arben Merkçi, Group Leader of the ICN2 Nanobioelectronics and Biosensors Group. With an IF=9.518 it is one of the most influential journals devoted to research, design development and application of biosensors and bioelectronics.

The profile of Prof. Merkoçi in the journal website highlights that he has published around 300 peer review research papers, supervised 30 PhD students and has been invited to give plenary lectures and keynote speeches in around 200 occasions in various countries. He is co-founder of two spin-off companies, PaperDrop dedicated to nanodiagnostics and GraphenicaLab to electronic printing with interest for sensors and biosensors.
