Prof. Arben Merkoçi explains the role of nanobiosensors for diagnosing COVID-19 in the Albanian television
The Group Leader of the ICN2 Nanobioelectronics and Biosensors Group was interviewed by Ora News.
Prof. Arben Merkoçi, Group Leader of the ICN2 Nanobioelectronics and Biosensors Group, gave an interview at Ora News, a television news channel based in Tirana, Albania. He talked about the COVID-19 situation in Spain and the importance of diagnostics to tackle it. He stressed that the use of nanobiosensors is a great alternative to conventional diagnostic tools. Prof. Merkoçi explained that their future projects in this direction will aim to offer advantageous, multiparametric sensing platforms based on nanotechnology and nanomaterials that may give important information for a better diagnostics in a more cost-efficient way.
