Prof. Daniel Maspoch wins the Research Excellence Award by the RSEQ

The Real Sociedad Española de Química (Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry) announced last Friday the winners of several awards, among whom was the ICN2 Group Leader.

The Real Sociedad Española de Química (RSEQ or Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry) announced last Friday the winners of this year’s research awards. The call included six different categories: RSEQ Medal, Distinguished Career, Research Excellence, Young Researchers, International Award with other Societies and Educational and Outreach Activities Award for teachers.

ICREA Prof. Daniel Maspoch, Leader of the ICN2 Sumpramolecular Nanochemistry and Materials Group, has been one of the winners of the “Research Excellence” category. Dr Arjan W. Kleij (ICIQ), Dr David Mecerreyes (UPV/EHU) and Dr Cristina Nevado (Universität Zürich) complete the winners of this modality, which values the independent scientific career and scientific leadership of the candidates during the last 5 years.
