Dr Arnau Carné Sánchez and Dr Sonia Ruiz Raga receive a “LaCaixa” Junior Leader grant to carry out their research at the ICN2.
The ICN2 welcome two recipients of the 2019 “LaCaixa” Junior Leader grant. Dr Arnau Carné Sánchez, already postdoctoral researcher in the ICN2 Supramolecular NanoChemistry and Materials group, led by Prof Daniel Maspoch, received a “Retaining” grant, which will allow him to continue his activities in the group. An “Incoming” grant was instead assigned to Dr Sonia Ruiz Raga, who joined the Nanostructured Materials for Photovoltaic Energy group, led by Dr Mónica Lira Cantú.
The “LaCaixa” Junior Leader grants provide three-year funding to selected young postdoctoral researchers, willing to continue working for or to join a University or research centre in Spain or Portugal.
