Dr Luis Carlos Garzón Tovar receives the Extraordinary Doctoral Award
He performed his research in the ICN2 Supramolecular Nanochemistry and Materials Group.
The UAB doctoral committee has decided to give the Extraordinary Doctoral Award on Chemistry 2017-2018 to Dr Luis Carlos Garzón Tovar, former PhD student at the ICN2. His thesis was entitled “Confining reactions in a droplet: synthesis of MOFs, COFs and Composites using spray drying”, and was defended on 19 July 2018. Dr Garzón Tovar developed his thesis at ICN2 under the direction of ICREA Prof. Daniel Maspoch, Group Leader of the Supramolecular Nanochemistry and Materials Group, and Dr Inhar Imaz, senior researcher of the same group.
