The 2nth Annual Congress of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (IICANN-SCN2 2020) registration now open
The Catalan Society of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (SCN2) will hold the Second Edition of its Annual Congress of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (IICANN-SCN2 2020) on November 19th. This year’s edition will take place online and aims to promote and give visibility to researchers developing their work in this field in Catalonia.
The 2nd edition of the Annual Congress of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology will take place on November 19th during the Setmana de la Ciència 2020, and due to the current situation of Covid-19 will be held via Zoom Meetings. The Catalan Society of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (SCN2) will focus on the recent development of nanobiomedicine, bringing together excellent researchers of Catalonia whose projects are devoted to the advanced administration of compounds. A lot of work is ongoing to optimize and better understand the potential and limitations of nanoparticulate systems for applications such as drug delivery, tissue regeneration, and advanced biosensing.
The event welcomes senior and young researchers, master and bachelor students who work, or have an interest in nanotechnology and biomedicine applications. There is also a poster contest for Ph.D. students and Masters, which is a great opportunity for them to show their work and discuss their results. It is open to subscription and to submitting the abstract before November 13th. This event is organized by Marta Delgà (ICN2), María Tenorio (ICN2), and Elena Fernández (H. Clínic) and there are several confirmed speakers, including Dr Salvio Suárez, research assistant in the ICN2 Nanostructure Functional Materials group.
