Dr Vincent Guillerm among the 2022 Influential Researchers, according to I&EC Research

by Virginia Greco

Former ICN2 researcher Dr Vincent Guillerm, currently a member of the Advanced Membranes and Porous Materials group at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST, Saudi Arabia), has been included in the “2022 Class of Influential Researchers” by I&EC Research.

Dr Vincent Guillerm, originally from France, completed his PhD in Chemistry at the Université de Versailles. He joined the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST, Saudi Arabia) in its early days in 2011, as a Posdoctoral Fellow with Prof. Mohamed Eddaoudi. After three years of learning and discoveries, in 2015 Vincent relocated to Barcelona (Spain) to work at the ICN2 with Prof. Daniel Maspoch, leader of Supramolecular NanoChemistry and Materials Group. Over 5 years, he applied his skills and further improved his topology knowledge to introduce the concept of “geometry mismatch”. In 2019, Vincent joined back KAUST and the Advanced Membranes and Porous Materials group as a Research Scientist.

This year, I&EC Research (an American Chemical Society journal) selected Dr Guillerm as one of the scientists inserted in the “2022 Class of Influential Researchers”. They are award-winning researchers who are in the first ten years of their independent career and who are carrying on exceptional research within chemical engineering and applied chemistry.
