The European Commission highlights the advancements on perovskite photovoltaics
The consensus statement led by Mónica Lira-Cantú and Eugene A. Katz is mentioned as a significant step towards industrialisation of perovskite solar cells.
The EU Science Hub, that is the European Commission’s science and knowledge service, highlights in its website the role of photovoltaics in the transition to climate neutrality. They echo Nature Energy’s recent editorial, emphasizing that the consensus statement on the study of perovskites “will hopefully help uncover degradation pathways of perovskite solar cells and foster transparency and reproducibility in the field”, which “is a key enabler to achieve consumer and investor confidence for a rapid scale-up of perovskite PV deployment”.
