Sant Jordi is the saint patron of Catalonia. Since the XV century, we celebrate April 23 as a kind of "dia dels enamorats" or lovers’ day, and the tradition is to give away a red-blood rose (and/or a book, since more recent times) to your loved and close ones.
ICN2 invites you to pick up a rose from our nanogarden and share your favourite book on Twitter mentioning: “#ScienceJordi at @ICN2nano”. We hope you will enjoy one of the most beautiful traditions in Catalonia!
