The 18th edition of the FOTCIENCIA contest, dedicated to scientific photography and microscopy, has been just launched. Take part!
FOTCIENCIA is an initiative organized by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), with the collaboration of the Jesús Serra Foundation of the Catalana Occidente Group, aiming to bring science and technology closer to society through scientific photography. Participants are requested to submit photos to one or more of the six categories (two general and fore specific), accompanied by a short explanatory text. In this 18th edition, a special section dedicated to COVID has been introduced.
The best photos of each category will be awarded a prize of up to 1500 euros and will be included in a catalogue and an exhibition that will travel throughout Spain. Submissions are open until October 14. Read all the information here and… get creative!
