The winners were announced and awarded the prizes in a hybrid event held on February the 1st.
On 1 February 2022 an “online gala” was held to announce the Winners of the 2021 edition of the ICN2 Art Meets Nano photo contest. More than 20 beautiful pieces of art were submitted by researchers and employees and the best photos in the two categories (General and Nano/Micro) were voted by the whole ICN2 community.

In the same ceremony, the winners of the ICN2 Day Awards (Best video and Sharpest viewer) were also awarded their prizes. The winners of this contest were the Nanostructured Functional Materials Group (Dr Àlex Juliá received the prize on behalf of the group) and Dr Héctor Torres, from the same group.
