The ICN2 celebrates the MBADay with Barcelona Global

Barcelona Global returns with a day to share the entrepreneurial, industrial and scientific Barcelona with more than 600 MBA students from five prestigious business schools: IESE, ESADE, EADA, UPF Barcelona School of Management and IQS. The visitors interacted with the Groups led by Prof. Laura Lechuga and Prof. Daniel Ruiz and discussed the interaction between science and industry with the ICN2 Business and Innovation team and the Marketing and Communication Department.

For the fourth consecutive year, a very interesting project led by Barcelona Global took place on October 20: Barcelona MBA Day. Barcelona Global returns with a day to share the entrepreneurial, industrial and scientific Barcelona with more than 600 MBA students from five prestigious business schools: IESE, ESADE, EADA, UPF Barcelona School of Management and IQS.

The ICN2 was one of the visited centers, hosting a Group of Students who interacted with the ICN2 Business and Innovation Team, with Dr Pablo Pomposiello at the forefront, the Nanobiosensors and Bioanalytical Applications Group led by Prof. Laura M. Lechuga, and the Nanostructured Functional Materials Group, led by Prof. Daniel Ruiz-Molina.

The visitors learned about the strategies to bring the ICN2 research closer to industry, the innovative nanobiosensors to diagnose a broad spectrum of diseases and new intelligent materials for smart windows, anticounterfeit and other applications. The event was coordinated by the ICN2 Marketing and Communication Department.

The aim is to welcome these international students, recently arrived in Barcelona, from the best business schools in the world. To do this, they have organized visits to multinationals, renowned scale-ups and research centers. In addition, the conference program also aims for students to get to know Barcelona's civic, business and research leaders first-hand.
