ICN2 showcases its spin-off companies and devices at Transfiere Málaga

ICN2 was present at Transfiere Málaga, a forum that connects the international R&D+I ecosystem. Claudia Nieva, Business Developer at ICN2's Business and Innovation team, presented innovative technologies from the ICN2 Groups and spin-off companies that are gaining recognition. These companies include Cooling Photonics, FutureChromes, and GraphenicaLab.

The Transfiere Málaga forum, held from February 15 to 17 at the FYCMA convention center, was organized by the City of Málaga, the Andalusian Agency of Knowledge, and the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation. The event featured more than 420 speakers who participated in over 80 thematic panels, attracting over 4,300 professional visitors. The SOMMA Alliance, in collaboration with the Spanish State Research Agency, also participated in the event.

At the SOMMA booth, Claudia Nieva, Business Developer at ICN2's Business and Innovation team, presented the cutting-edge technologies developed by the institute's Groups and spin-off companies. Cooling Photonics, for example, provides passive cooling solutions without energy consumption or carbon emissions. FutureChromes is a spin-off company involved in the creation of advanced photochromes, while GraphenicaLab has patented technology for printing flexible graphene sensors and electronic devices on any surface.

ICN2's participation in Transfiere Málaga allowed the institute to showcase its innovative technologies to a broad audience and explore new opportunities for collaboration and commercialization.
