ICREA Prof Daniel Maspoch and Dr Marius Costache honored by CSIC for their 2015 achievements

CSIC honored researchers who had been awarded in 2015 with a high impact award. Over 100 CSIC-related researchers gathered during a ceremony held in the CSIC Central Headquarters in Madrid. The Spanish Secretary of State for Research, Development and Innovation, Carmen Vela, presided over the event together with CSIC’s President, Emilio Lora-Tamayo.

CSIC celebrated a ceremony to honor those CSIC-related researchers who had been awarded in 2015 with a high impact award. The ceremony, held on June 30 in the CSIC Central Headquarters in Madrid, gathered Over 100 CSIC-related researchers in an event presided by the Spanish Secretary of State for Research, Development and Innovation, Carmen Vela, and the President of CSIC, Emilio Lora-Tamayo.

Among the honoured scientists were Dr Marius Costache, Senior Researcher at the ICN2 Physics and Engineering of Nanodevices Group, who received the prestigious IUPAP Young Scientist Medal in the field of Magnetism, and ICREA Research Prof Daniel Maspoch, Group Leader of the ICN2 Supramolecular NanoChemistry and Materials Group, who was awarded the RSEQ Marcial Moreno-Mañas Lectureship.
