The UAB organised a meeting of researchers involved in the P-Sphere Cofund project to encourage synergies and collaborations. Up to 6 Postdoctoral Researchers from the ICN2 are part of this exciting initiative.
Last 7th June the UAB organised a meeting to gather all the P-Sphere researchers in order to strengthen links and boost future collaborations amongst participants. These postdoctoral fellows, who develop their research in several UAB sphere institutions and fields, had the opportunity to meet each other and to reflect on their career prospects.
The European P-Sphere project, coordinated by the UAB and with participation of UAB-CIE member centres, received funding from the latest COFUND-2014 call. It is a long-term programme (lasting five years) in which two calls will be opened to attract experienced researchers, with same transnational mobility required by the Marie Sklodowska-Curie programme.
A total of six postdoctoral researchers from ICN2 are part of this exciting initiative:
- Dr Ramón Cuadrado Del Burgo – ICN2 Theory and Simulation Group
- Dr Jeremy David - ICN2 Advanced Electron Nanoscopy Group
- Dr Clement Joseph Jean Hebert – ICN2 Advanced Electronic Materials and Devices Group
- Dr Juliana Jaramillo Fernández – ICN2 Phononic and Photonic Nanostructures Group
- Dr Stephen Power – ICN2 Theoretical and Computational Nanoscience Group
- Dr Matias Timmermans – ICN2 Physics and Engineering of Nanodevices Group
