Quantum Careers Symposium: registration open

A networking event for students and early-stage researchers interested in discovering career opportunities in the wide field of quantum science and technology.

The Master in Quantum Science and Technology - Barcelona is organising an open symposium dedicated to careers in quantum science and technologies, which will be held on 8 April 2022 in the iconic landmark of La Pedrera in Barcelona. The main sessions will also be streamed online.

This event is meant at STEM undergraduate or master students and early-stage researchers, who will be able to learn about the many careers paths and job opportunities available in the field of quantum science and technology and to network with other students, researchers, and professionals in academia and industry making up the quantum community.

Registration is open until the end of March.

 

About the Master in Quantum Science and Technologies - Barcelona

The Master in Quantum Science and Technologies is an initiative of the University of Barcelona (UB), the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), the Institute of Photonic Sciences (ICFO), the Barcelona Supercomputing Centre (BSC), the Institute for High Energy Physics (IFAE) and the Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICN2). It is aimed at graduates in Physics, Physical Engineering or equivalent degrees who want to continue specialization studies in Quantum Science and Technologies.

Engagement with industry is prominent, with high-tech companies actively participating in teaching, offering internships, seminars and a careers symposium. The Master also provides access to PhD programmes at the participating institutes.
