Akim Khobotov receives Best Poster Award at the 1st SCQ Meeting on Inorganic and Organometallic Chemistry
The event was organised by the Catalan Society of Chemistry.
On 2-3 February 2023, the Catalan Society of Chemistry (SCQ) held its 1st Meeting on Inorganic and Organometallic Chemistry at the Casa de la Convalecència in Barcelona. At the event, Akim Khobotov Bakishev, doctoral student in the Supramolecular NanoChemistry and Materials Group (led by ICREA Prof. Daniel Maspoch), was awarded a Best Poster prize. He presented his work on “Covalent polymerisation of porous molecular frameworks: synthesis, functionalisation and applications”.
The Catalan Society of Chemistry is an association that brings together chemists from Catalonia with the aim to promote the dissemination of chemistry, in particular among young people, and to enhance the image of chemistry and its contribution to science and social welfare. It is an open, dynamic society mainly focused on educational and scientific activities relating to chemistry.
