Dr Arnau Carné-Sánchez receives Best Talk Award at the 1st SCQ Meeting on Inorganic and Organometallic Chemistry

The event was organised by the Catalan Society of Chemistry.

Dr Arnau Carné-Sánchez, senior researcher in the Supramolecular NanoChemistry and Materials Group (led by ICREA Prof. Daniel Maspoch), received a Best Talk Award at the 1st Meeting on Inorganic and Organometallic Chemistry the Catalan Society of Chemistry (SCQ). At the event, which was held on 2-3 February 2023 at the Casa de la Convalecència in Barcelona, he presented his work on “Reactivity and assembly of metal-organic polyhedral”.

The other two awardees are Dr Carla Casadevall Serrano, from the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ), and Dr Roc Matheu Montserrat, from the Institute of Theoretical and Computational Chemistry (IQTCUB) of the University of Barcelona.

The Catalan Society of Chemistry is an association that brings together chemists from Catalonia with the aim to promote the dissemination of chemistry, in particular among young people, and to enhance the image of chemistry and its contribution to science and social welfare. It is an open, dynamic society mainly focused on educational and scientific activities relating to chemistry.
