Prof. Daniel Ruiz-Molina and Dr Salvio Suárez-García elected as members of the Editorial Board of a new Frontiers journal
The new journal dedicated to high-quality research in “Frontiers in Coatings, Dyes and Interface Engineering” has been just launched and the Editorial Board put together.
The open-access publisher Frontiers has recently announced the launch of its latest journal, Frontiers in Coatings, Dyes and Interface Engineering. Prof. Daniel Ruiz-Molina and Dr Salvio Suárez-García, group leader and senior researcher of the ICN2 Nanostructured Functional Materials Group, respectively, have been appointed as members of the Editorial Board of the Soft Coatings Section. Specifically, Prof Ruiz-Molina is Specialty Chief Editor and Dr Suárez-García Associate Editor.
The journal aims to provide a high-visibility and high-quality platform for researchers in Academia and industry to share rigorously peer-reviewed research across the breadth of coatings, dyes, and pigments, as well as interface engineering. With a focus on disseminating new scientific knowledge and impactful discoveries to a global audience, the journal welcomes experimental work that explores deposition-characterization-properties-performance relationships, as well as contributions from theoretical and modeling research.
The journal boasts a comprehensive offering of Specialty Sections, each with its own dedicated Editorial Board of leading experts in their respective fields. Unique to Frontiers in Coatings, Dyes and Interface Engineering is an emphasis on research that aligns with global grand challenges such as net zero, biomedical/health technologies, space, and security. The journal invites cutting-edge original research and topical review articles related to these areas, emphasizing the importance of sustainability, low friction interfaces, and other critical factors in the development of new coatings, dyes, and interface engineering.
