Prof. María Escudero Escribano receives the ‘Journal of Materials Chemistry Lectureship’ 2021
This Award was conferred to Prof. Escudero Escribano in recognition of her outstanding contribution to materials chemistry.
The Journal of Materials Chemistry, a prestigious publication of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), established in 2010 an annual lectureship, which is intended to honour early-career scientists who have made a significant contribution to the field of materials chemistry.
ICREA Prof. María Escudero Escribano, leader of the ICN2 NanoElectrocatalysis and Sustainable Chemistry Group, has been selected as the winner of the Journal of Materials Chemistry Lectureship 2021. To celebrate this recognition, the journal has put together a collection of her publications in Royal Society of Chemistry journals, which can be found here.
The Award was officially conferred to Prof. Escudero Escribano at the 16th International Conference on Materials Chemistry organised by the RSC, which took place in Dublin (Ireland) from 3 to 6 of July. She also gave a keynote lecture on ‘Tailored Electrocatalyst Materials for Renewable Fuels and Chemicals’ in the ‘Materials for Energy’ session.
Prof. Escudero Escribano joined the ICN2 in September 2022, where she established a new research group and brought her experience and talent. Read more about her research and strong involvement in developing solutions for decarbonization here.
