ACS Energy Letters Recognises Prof. Mónica Lira-Cantú as a Global Leader in Energy Research
The journal highlights her significant contributions to the development of perovskite solar cells in a special series on women at the forefront of energy research.
The seventh issue of the series 'Women Scientists at the Forefront of Energy Research', published by ACS Energy Letters, has highlighted the figure of Prof. Mónica Lira-Cantú, leader of the ICN2 Nanostructured Materials for Photovoltaic Energy Group. In this publication, which recognises her as one of the leading scientists in the field, she was able to provide readers with a very complete overview of her career and achievements.
Prof. Lira-Cantú graduated in chemistry in 1992 and completed her master's and doctoral studies in materials science at ICMAB and the UAB. After a distinguished international career, she joined ICN2, where he leads pioneering lines of research in materials and next-generation solar cell manufacturing.
This recognition reflects the excellence and impact of her work in the photovoltaics field and the search for sustainable energy solutions.
