The 2025 edition of the Conference on Advanced Materials in Spain, co-organised by ICN2, will be held from 24 to 26 November. The event will bring together leading researchers and key players in the field of advanced materials.
From 24 to 26 November 2025, the UAB campus will host the 4th Conference on Advanced Materials in Spain (AMatS). This event, organised by several scientific institutions including ICN2, ICMAB, ALBA and IFAE, is already one of the most important national gatherings in materials science. Throughout the three-day event, AMaTS 2025 will offer a varied, multidisciplinary programme including invited talks by national and international expert researchers, as well as oral, flash and poster presentations. The conference aims to foster the exchange of ideas, strengthen collaborations, and drive the development of innovative technological solutions.
AMatS is open to researchers at all stages of their careers. The period for submitting abstracts is currently open. Don’t miss this opportunity to share your research, exchange ideas, and connect with the advanced materials community.
Here are the key dates:
- Abstract submission: until 27 June 2025
- Notification of acceptance: 15 September 2025
- Early bird registration: 1 June to 15 October 2025
This edition is supported by the InCAEM project, funded by the Planes Complementarios program, promoted by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities through the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, Next Generation EU and the Generalitat de Catalunya.
The conference will begin with the opening ceremony of the InCAEM project at the ALBA Synchrotron. There will be scientific talks related to the project, which focuses on developing a unique infrastructure for advanced energy materials research that will be open to the scientific community.
