The Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry awarded Dr Arellano for his PhD thesis.
Dr Arellano, who is a postdoc researcher in the Nanomedicine group at the ICN2, has recently been assigned the ‘Best PhD Thesis in Chemistry Award’ by the Territorial Section of Castilla La Mancha of the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry (STCLM-RSEQ). His thesis was entitled ‘Design and synthesis of covalent synthetic carbon architectures based on carbon nanotubes and graphene’, and the jury considered his ‘excellent research’ in this field.
