ART meets NANO is a contest aiming to engage the ICN2 community in the act of connecting art and science. Our goal is to encourage art as an attractive tool for communicating our nanoscience.
Through the ART meets NANO Scientific Photography Contest the ICN2 aims to promote interaction through the creation and sharing of images. It is also an opportunity to showcase the beauty of our research on the walls of the ICN2. All ICN2 members can submit images to this contest.
The images must be related to nanoscience and nanotechnology research developed at the ICN2, and its technological or industrial application, reflecting the motivation, instrumentation and/or technologies used for its development. There are two main categories: Nano/micro and General. In 2020 a third category open to images related to the COVID-19 disease and pandemic was introduced.
