Dr Luis Miguel Arellano receives Second Best PhD Thesis Award from GENAM

Dr Arellano is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Nanomedicine Group.

The Specialised Group on Nanoscience and Molecular Materials (GENAM) of the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry (RSEQ) and the Spanish Royal Society of Physics (RSEF) conferred the second prize for the Best PhD Thesis defended in 2019 to Dr Luis Miguel Arellano.

Dr Arellano is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Nanomedicine group at the ICN2, led by Prof. Kostas Kostarelos. He received his PhD from the University of Castilla-La Mancha presenting a thesis on ‘Design and synthesis of covalent synthetic carbon architectures based on carbon nanotubes and graphene’.
